PATIENT INFORMATION

Careful preparation is important for a smooth surgery experience. For procedure‑specific instructions, please follow guidance from your surgeon’s office, as they are best equipped to help you prepare.

For general questions about your visit or arrival, call (231) 876 0770.

Before surgery, you may need: Surgical clearance from your primary care provider (you will be notified if required) Lab tests prior to your procedure (you will be notified if needed) What to expect before your procedure:

You may receive a text or online questionnaire to complete in advance A call or text the day before surgery will confirm your arrival time

Medications: Please review all medications and supplements you take—daily or weekly—with your surgeon or healthcare provider. This includes prescriptions, over‑the‑counter medications, vitamins, and supplements. You will be advised which medications to continue or temporarily stop before surgery.

Bring a current list of your medications (or the containers) with you on the day of surgery.

The night before surgery: Do not eat or drink anything after midnight (including water, gum, or mints), unless your physician gives different instructions. Avoid alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco for 24 hours before your procedure, and do not smoke after midnight.

ABOUT YOUR SURGERY

Before Your Procedure

  • Any required pre‑operative testing will be determined by your physician or anesthesia provider
  • Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home after your procedure
  • Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and medication list

Day of Your Procedure

  • Arrive at the time provided during your pre‑procedure call
  • Wear comfortable clothes.
  • Leave valuables at home
  • Your care team will review your procedure, answer questions, and ensure your comfort

FINANCIAL POLICY

Our Financial Policy Guidelines:

  • We believe clear financial information is an important part of your care.
  • We will provide payment estimates for services not covered by insurance or for expected out‑of‑pocket costs before your procedure
  • We accept assignment of insurance benefits for covered services
  • Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles are due prior to treatment
  • Final charges may change based on services provided; any refunds will be processed within 30 days after insurance payment
  • Information about No Surprises Billing protections is available upon request or via a dedicated link.
  • Accepted forms of payment include major credit cards and other approved payment methods.

Established in 2026, Cadillac Surgery Center is a fully accredited, freestanding ambulatory surgery center. We are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), licensed by the State of Michigan, and certified by Medicare. Accreditation reflects our commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.

DISCLOSURE

Cadillac Surgery Center is a healthcare facility in which certain physicians hold an ownership or investment interest. A list of physician owners and investors is available upon request.
